Attorneys file joint motion for continuance in T.J. Lane murder trial
It appears that the trial for accused Chardon High shooter T.J. Lane may be delayed once again.
The defense and prosecution filed a joint motion to continue the trial from its present start date of Jan. 14. The trial was initially scheduled for Nov.26, 2012, but was continued.
The continuance motion will be argued at a pretrial hearing on Monday.
Lane is accused of opening fire in his high school cafeteria, killing three students and wounding three others. He was 17-years-old at the time of the shooting but will be tried as an adult. Lane is now 18-years-old.
