Jodi Arias: Hell Hath No Fury

Jodi Arias: Hell Hath No Fury – Facts

Travis Alexander’s roommates found him dead in their apartment. He was not just dead but the victim of a horrific attack. He had been shot in the face. 27 stab wounds decorated his body. A deep knife wound slit his throat. He lay lifeless in the shower.

On that day in June, 2008, a perpetrator was not instantly clear. No one had a motive. Everyone had an alibi — including his ex-girlfriend, Jodi Arias, who told police she was on a road trip.

It wasn’t until the authorities found a bloody handprint at the scene that matched Arias’ fingerprints that she became their only suspect.

Arias tried to explain her presence at the scene of Alexander’s murder by telling police that they were the victims of masked intruders. She told them she couldn’t identify the intruders in a lineup and that she was too scared to call the police right away after the attack.

Arias later changed her story. She told the police that she and Alexander fought, that he became violent and abusive with her and that she acted in self-defense.

The changing stories and the handprint sealed her guilt in the minds of the authorities, and she was charged with murder in the first degree for the death of Travis Alexander.

Alexander and Arias’ relationship leading up to the killing was both passionate and fraught with difficulty. Within two months of meeting, Alexander had baptised Arias into the Mormon faith, refusing to date her unless she shared his beliefs.

The couple dated for a few months until Arias found text messages from another girl on Alexander’s phone in June 2007. They fought, split up, but continued a sexual relationship up until just before Alexander died. In fact, a camera found at the scene of the crime shows both Alexander and Arias in sexy poses, taken just a few days before. The last picture is of Alexander’s bloodied body in the shower.

In July of 2007, after the two had officially split, Arias relocated from California to Arizona where Alexander lived. He was dating another woman. His tires were slashed twice that December, and his girlfriend received a threatening email.

Arias returned to California in March of 2008. She and Alexander kept in touch, and he promised to visit her in May. In June, Arias planned a road trip to Los Angeles and then to Utah to visit a friend.

On June 9, Alexander’s body was found. On June 26, investigators found Arias’ bloody handprint at the scene, and on July 15 Arias was arrested for her ex-boyfriend’s murder. She has been in custody ever since.

Jodi’s sensational trial lasted for more than four months, becoming a social media spectacle and capturing national headlines as millions watched the trial live online.

Arias herself testified for an unbelievable 18 days during which she described the lurid details of their sexual relationship, which included nude photos and even a phone sex recording. She attempted to explain why her story changed several times throughout the investigation and told jurors that she acted in self-defense, but as a result of the trauma, her memory of the events of June 4, 2008 — the day she admitted killing Travis Alexander — was clouded by a “fog”.

A jury of eight men and four women convicted Jodi Arias, 32, of first-degree murder on May 8, 2013. However, the same jury was not able to reach a unanimous decision on whether the scorned lover turner killer should be put to death or receive life in prison.

Prosecutors have stated they will continue to seek the death penalty. A second sentencing hearing, in front of a new jury, is likely to take place in late 2013 or early 2014.

The second sentencing trial for Arias was initially scheduled to begin March 17, 2014. Judge Stephens ruled February 12 that the start date for that trial will postponed due to a scheduling conflict with Prosecutor Juan Martinez, who is engaged in a separate capital murder trial. A new trial date has not been set.

If Arias receives the death penalty, it would earn her the dubious distinction as the third woman on Arizona’s death row.

WOW it’s amazing to see how many people misspell defense. I checked and there IS a spell checker on here. The red squiggly line under the word means it’s not spelled correctly.

This broads a scumbag. She BROUGHT weapons WITH her. This is murder 1….HOW could it be anything else. SHE BROUGHT THE WEAPONS WITH HER.

That said…TA was complaining about this bimbo to all his friends…what he told them led them to fear for his safety….so he must have told them some crazy things. Slashed tires… threatening emails…and STILL, STILL….this guy was such a HORNDOG that he would keep USING her……in SPITE of these fears??? He may have been innocent, but he definately not my type of guy.

Who brings a gun to a crime scene? The person who intends to use it. Who takes a gun from a crime scene and ditches it in the desert? The person who brought it and is trying to hide the fact that it’s murder one we are talking about here. If the gun belonged to Travis as she claimed,it would’ve been left there. Jodi thinks we are all stupid. Travis’ sexual misconduct, isn’t Any red blooded man would partake of a woman who obviously kept putting herself in his path. I believe that she was putting it in his face every chance she could believing that she could get him back. Such a narcissist would believe that every man on the planet can’t resist what she had between her legs. Also to keep reminding him of what he was missing. It would be different if he was seeking her out but it was her constantly using her feminine wiles to her advantage.

I totally agree. I feel bad for TA, but he should have COMPLETELY left her when he discovered that she was a psycho. When I was single, this was the biggest challange, especially internet dating. Figure out if they are a psycho before you go to the next level. And when YOU break it off….break it off. Don’t “just be friends”, casual date, booty call, especially if they still have feelings for you. Its dangerous not to mention rude. Travis didn’t live to learn the lesson he got. I was lucky with my psycho – I lived. After mine did all the things Jodi did (call all females in dirctory, unplanned visits, harassing current dates of mine, follow me, lies, change my ph no. etc. etc. etc. I finally wrote a certified letter telling her to quit stalking me or the next step is restraining order and cops. I MEAN CUT IT OFFFF. She did – sorta. Grasshopper…..Big head much smarter than small head.

I just want to say that it is so sad to see the photos of Travis. There is no way that this was self defense. She is crazy and has to pay for what she has done. This is terrible, my heart goes out to Travis’s family. God bless, and Jodi you can run but you can not hide from GOD!!!

Sandra Sandiford says:

just have one thing to say in reference to this crazy case concerning Jodi Aris, her Attorneys and all these wacky Pychologist experts coming to the defence of Jodi. It’s a shame the way the true victim Travis Alexander is being over looked, and not sincerily being considered. Jodi was a stalker, and was obsessed with Travis. I am convinced she is Borderline Personality Disorder b/c she has all the personality traits that our stalker has. My family and I have been victims of this kind of sickness and it’s very scary, you have to get away from these people b/c they will make your life miserable, and they do stalk you b/c they become obbessed and fixed on people they learn to love, and admire. Successfully Jodi Arias have managed to turn truth into lies with the help of her attorneys. and it seems like the Judge is going along with it.
Don’t this Judge see that Jodi is on trial for her life is a very intelligent being and she is doing all she can to make herself look like she’s the victim in this case anyone with any sense knows she is a premediated murderer. My thing is if this new expert for the defence has just reasonly given her a new test. Would ‘nt he think of the fact that with all Jodi has learned on this trial about these kind of tests she would now know extactly what to anwser to make her look like she’s been abused, and has PTS. I hate the way the system can be so easilly maniputated. I hate that we get to see everthing on Jodi Arias through the media and the jury sees only a selective view, they twist and turn the truth so far in and out that it gets lost in the sauce. and the true criminal gets away! Sad to see there is really no Justice here. Last but not least I hope you’ll know she is high as a kite with Antidepressants, Anxiety meds, and mindgrain headache meds, that’s why she see her so relaxed, and scratching herself at times. She’s doped up to the max.

I present the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly you can find questions like the 1 you bring up exactly where probably the most imperative factor might be working in honest decent faith. Snapped?? says:

I saw it stated that they only dated for “a few months”. (Then “officially” split up. But kept in touch.)

How does one “snap” after only, a “few months”.

This gal was “snapped” (crazy) BEFORE these two even met.

Icessess says:

How did she get the upper hand with him? Anyone know?

Amy says:

You have in the “Facts” that Jodi’s hand print was found on June 26. That is not necessarily true. Investigators found the hand print during the days following the discovery of Travis’s body. The hand print wan’t identified until they were able to obtain a hand print from Jodi. According to Detective Flores’s Investigation Report, Jodi came to the police department to be fingerprinted June 17th.

Jaker says:

Detective Flores? You mean the “Keystone Cop” the one who has told more lies than he can think up. This whole trial is sick, because the Prosecutor is another one who full of lies & deceit, who hides away computer & other evidence, who’s trying to be a social media star & who is a “Bully”. The Judge is dumb & is in the pocket of the Prosecutor. There is so much that is iffy about this trial that it just shows up the American Justice system for what it it, a “Shambles”. And in Arizona, the business of Law is corrupt up to the sky.

Jodi Arias was abused, the guy that’s dead (RIP) was a paedophile & not quite the nice angelic fellow the Prosecution is making him out to be, he was into child porn (Ugh) & other horrible practices, he also used language that you couldn’t say in the daytime or your world would be all blue…so someone please tell me why Jodi Arias is in prison at all? when the most she could/should have been charged with is (Domestic Manslaughter). The trial is a farce, in fact, it’s also a media & social media trial where everyone is knotting the rope. So there’s no fairness what-so-ever with this trial, no Justice, no nothing, just Barbarians shouting & screaming for the death of another person just because their sad excuse for a life is so boring they think this trial is soap opera. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. In fact, do you know who you remind me off? IS that’s who you remind me of, those who kill in cold blood, because that’s what you’re are doing to this Human Being you treat like dirt.

I used to think US was a place where Justice was King, but I was mistaken, Justice there is a farce, a “Total Farce”. A “Circus” except the clowns are not that funny, ,what a “Shenanigans”. Be ashamed of yourselves. Martinez, called Jodi Arias a liar in the first trial? Imagine! The man who made his career up of lies is calling Jodi Arias a liar? The man who sneakily hid/displaced/deleted/destroyed lots of evidence called Jodi Arias a liar? What a cheek! He doesn’t seem to have a moral fibre within his body. Dear Prosecutor Martinez, will you please apologise for this when the trial restarts Tues, 20th January, 2015. I will be waiting, not that you will, for as I said you haven’t got a moral fibre in your being. This trial is sick, of course, not only that…Arizona…is sick regards Justice…it is suffering from a pandemic. The state is corrupt, the police are corrupt, especially those that are dealing with this case, Montgomery, Flores, Melendez. As for this Judge, she should never be given a serious crime to try ever again…ever. What should happen now & will happen is for this trial to collapse & for Miss Arias to be freed, & as she is being freed for Martinez to apologise to her for calling her a “Liar”. For it is (he) who is the liar, the conman & a disgrace to this courtroom… never mind any other.

The truth will out & Jodi Arias will get justice…will see the day when she can walk free & hold her head higher than any of you who have/are jumping on the band-wagon to pass judgement on her. What, “Hypocrites”…please take the planks out of your own eyes before trying to judge another. God knows what happened here & he will judge & be on the side of Justice, he will do & has already done what none of you can seemingly do, “Forgive”. He will take her cross off her shoulders & set her free & no one of you will change that scenario…because he is about to change this trial for the better & help someone whom everyone seems to be against or at least the majority of you seem to be against & have already judged. His day will soon come when he shows through the new jury how Miss Arias, did not commit premeditated murder & how Justice works. Because the human beings who are supposed to be in the Justice business to serve justice fairly to every defendant who is accused especially of such a serious crime have certainly failed to serve Justice in this case. The case is so biased, it’s laughable, but why would/could I laugh when the human being at the midst of it might lose her life because she was refused a fair trial. Do you know where these kind of one sided trials are usually held? In Russia & in Sharia Law, that’s where. Now US/Arizona are of equal to them…Imagine…Your justice equals those others who are merciless, who are ruthless, who are devoid of “Law”. Be rightly ashamed of “Yourselves”.

A quote for you;
“Justice is often rendered impotence by the art of falsehood. Conceit & Sophistry – Perfected by Lawyers & Politicians. Dr. T.P.Chia.

R.L. Haley says:

So lets say I have a stalker,I even tell friends about ,I let them know who it is and that this person is crazy.I don’t let anyone know I got plenty of the opposite sex available to me,some might even be married , hmm, but I doubt there spouses or they slashed my tires,I got one person I can blame everything on,a new comer to the faith and an outsider to boot and while my roommates are away, they and I will kick it all day.
Would you invite and sleep for hours next to the person you believed could , would kill you?

Mary Holt says:

To all of you who think she is guilty … phooey! Jodie loved this man and He hurt her. For her to commit such a heinous act of violence tells me it was self defense.
I believe that she suffered from a head injury that day and I believe that she may very well have suffered from the same thing when he rendered her unconscious during a previous altercation where he was choking her.
Juan Martinez wants a conviction. That is why he is not interested in the truth.

She makes me sick ! says:

Just because she “LOVED” him, doesn’t mean she’s not a MURDERER ! Self defense ??? Good excuse ! Why not the insanity plea ? Since she’s a WHACK JOB ! At least that might be believable…
I think she was pissed that he didn’t want to be in a relationship anymore. Then taking another woman on the trip w/ him. She figured if she went over there and let him have his way w/ her all day, then he’d ask her to go on the trip instead of the other woman. Then, when she found out he was still going w/ this other woman… That was it ! She BRUTALLY murdered him ! If she couldn’t have him, nobody could !!!

"loved"? says:

It sure doesn’t look like, “love”d, to me.

"loved"? says:

But it does look like: “Jodi (the Psychopath) (/and, like an immature brat) can’t have it her way.”

Also, I highly doubt that she even thought that she “love”d him.

I think it had more to do with: She could not, “control”, him (like a puppet)

I think the “control” factor, is what she was wanting.
(and that it was like a “game” to her)

At first glance, it looks like she was out of “control”, doesn’t it. I think it is actually the opposite:
This was the only way that she could get,

(She then thought she, won.)

Surely some have noticed that she “tries” to, control, in that courtroom.

(With her “lies”; smirky grins; and rolling-eyes)

Tia says:

Yea, she loved him til DEATH~

Anita says:

Mary, Mary, Mary, there is no evidence that Travis Alexander choked her. Is it true because she said so? Well do you know she’s a pathological liar? That’s true, and quite evident. What’s also true is he’s dead, at her hands. Overkill. Let’s say he choked her, she isn’t dead, no evidence of bruising, hospitalization of any sort. In either case, the law says it doesn’t justify stabbing him 27 times, slitting his throat and shooting him in the face. You don’t get to do that, PERiod. Are you living on a farm Mary, tending to the crops? Not really in touch? In either case you are one of the very small percentage who believes what you just said.

rocc33 says:

if someone hurts you and you kill them it’s not self defense its revenge or retaliation. how many people that have “hurt” you have you slaughtered ?

dean says:

This was a crime of passion. They both used each other on sexual and consensual basis. she went into a fit; frenzy; rage. when he must of told her- he was taking the other women on the trip. I agree she may have took him by surprise in the shower, when she pull the gun on him and took the photo. The expression on his face and crossing his arms look like a defense stand- almost staring as he could not believe want she was doing. He fought for his life – the trail of his blood tells the story, he was trying to get away from her not him chasing her.

"trying to get away from her says:

not him chasing her.”

He had been

“trying to get away from her
and was not chasing her”

She was chasing him.
(Including stalking; and cutting tires; threatening another girl; etc.)

Unfortunately, it seems the guy just didn’t realize HOW “dangerous” this person could be. (How “dangerous” she WAS)

First, she slit the tires.
Then, she slit his throat.

Some things are very OBVIOUS in this case.

"trying to get away from her says:

Just as it was a “plan” to slit the tires,
it was a “plan” to slit his throat.

It was definitely (NO DOUBT) “premeditated”.

was a "plan" to slit (tires)/was a "plan to slit (throat) says:

“If” the D.A. hasn’t already thought about this, I hope they find their way to what I just pointed out, and mention it before this trial is over.

This is even more proof, that it was “premeditated”.

rocc33 says:

you don’t plan a crime of passion. you don’t bring a gun with you just in case. you don’t dye your hair or set up an alibi beforehand (ryan burns). you don’t rent a car or load up some gas cans so you don’t leave a trail.

Susan says:

Agree with Julie. 11stab wounds in the back. He was trying to get away from her. I would be interested in knowing if any information was ever developed about the tool/weapon that was used to slash the tires of Travis car twice and the tires of his new girlfriend’s car jodie was obviously carrying around some sort of sharp tool/weapon right before the murder. Could this be the same weapon Jodie brought to stab Travis? Perhaps some information about the condition of the tires would match up with Travis injuries Judge probably wouldn’t allow it in anyway. I am sick of the testimony of this domestic violence witness. She testified as if she knows all these events took place as if she was there. All she knows is what ARIAS TOLD HER OR WROTE ABOUT in her journal. For the most part this is what her testimony is based on. Travis was no different than many many single men. All Jodie had to do was say NO from the very get-go of their relationship. Still, because of the uncertainty of a first degree murder verdict with the death penalty the prosecution should take or should have accepted a plea deal which put Arias in jail for the rest of her life without the possibility of parole.

Aneeta says:

I dont see self-defense any where. Travis is in the shower when the ambush started and from the beginning to the end Jodi took pictures of her evil like she was enjoying every moment of his torment. It is so pre-meditated. Let her have it!! The chair.

TheTruth says:

Like I said before I hope beauty doesnt spare her pathetic existence of a life she has single-handedly designed for herself pre-incarceration and currently. Concerned only about her past and still ever present demands..energybar..migraine pill anyone? And still no fog lifted on those u have broken including ur own. Shes the perfect example to show this beautiful country of ours about real pure justice…shes not a mother and doesnt love her own..kill her.

Beauty?? says:

“I hope beauty doesnt spare her pathetic existence”

I guess word “beauty” is just a matter of opinion, because I have not seen “beauty” in regard to this person who is on trial in this courtroom.

kathleen says:

Travis toyed with Jodi and other women….Jodi just snapped. Travis was no angel.

Tanya says:

Agree he was no ANGEL but isn’t a fact that it was all role playing we all like to pretend and have fun its sexy even she enjoyed it obviously she kept coming back he didn’t slit her tires or kill her

Janis says:

Wow Kathleen. Regardless, Travis didn’t deserve to be brutally murdered like that.

Janis says:

Also, in IMO, Jodi didn’t “snap.” This was pre mediated, she went to his home with the full intent of murdering him. She used sex to lure him where she wanted, then when he was in the shower, at his most vulnerable she attacks him. That’s not snapping, that’s just plain evil. You saw the pics of Travis, right before she murdered him. She had the gas cans, the gun and knife, she had this all planned.

Tanya says:

Janis,I so agree she knew what she was doing! He didn’t deserve to die like he did!!! Her hand wounds had to be from stabbing him!!

Did they actually "have sex" then says:

Is there any evidence that they actually/factually did, have sex, on the date that she killed him?

(Or is that just an assumption, that was assumed because of, those pictures that were taken.)

And think about it: Couldn’t it be possible that the “last laugh” might be that: Person “thinks” they are going to have sex, but then, it does not happen. (ha ha)

You cannot go by what this “lying” Psychopath says, so my question is: Was there actual evidence, that sex occurred on THIS date? (and for that matter, say for example they found semen on a bedsheet. How could something like that be proven as to which “date” it was put there – and his body wasn’t even found for, five days.)

Aneeta says:

The bitch is just crazy. If a man dont want you, keep it moving. Nobody on this earth, angel or not, deserves to be slaughtered the way she did Travis.

Tanya says:

She is definitely not “crazy” she has been on it she’s still in the same mind set she put alot of thought in this trail of deceit its so choreographed!!! She’s basking in the spotlight of what she’s doing and what she’s done!!! She needs to be put to death she’s pure EVIL,NOT CRAZY!!!

Icessess says:

He was no angel, (what man/women is) but she made sure he is now!

Tanya says:

I believe Travis was shot first, shocked went to sink,(explains blood splatter outside shower) that’s how blood gets on sink (25 cal not real powerful) Jody stabs him in the back,he turns outs hands up in defense she stabs him in the chest/heart he’s weaken tries to get away down the hallway she’s stabbing his back, stumbles she continues to stab legs then his neck head then finally grabs his head pulls back slits throat! She gets sheets puts bottom part of his body on it to make it easy to drag his body back to shower. Im a CNA its very possible I wt 134 and I know I can move dead wt with a sheet down a hallway on a tile floor. I just don’t know why she wanted to put him back in the shower. What was the point?

Janis says:

To wash off her blood. She probably injured her finger when she was stabbing him, (the blood got very slippery holding the knife)

Tanya says:

No cuts on her hands?

Janis says:

When she arrived in Salt Lake City the next day, when she saw Ryan Burns, he said, along with some others, that she was wearing long sleeves, and did have several bandages on her fingers.

Tanya says:

Gotcha thanks for that

ann says:

cont…the three purchases on the bank statement…the J.M. showed 2 receipts for the gas pumped but then J.M. jumps to the third purchase and does a math calculation for the 3 purchase…wanting us to connect the dots this is the 3rd gas can. If J.M. had the 3rd receipt he would be slapping it down on the table also. Any thoughts?

ann says:

A couple of things I’m trying to wrap my head around one being the camera being left in the washer. I’m “somewhat” experience with d. cameras and I’m fully aware deleted photos could be retrieved from the card. The second is the three purchases on the

Gayle says:

Ok, who is the well dressed woman that usually sits at a table behind the defense table? Occasionally she will sit next to Jennifer Wilmot. Also, why did it take almost five years before this case was brought to trial?

Janis says:

Gayle, I was wondering the same thing. She must be on the defense side, but I never do her really do anything, like taking notes. She just seem to sit there, watching.
One another note, Jodi’s mother, Sandy, is that her twin sister that always sits next to her? TIA.

Gayle says:

Yes, I heard one of the In Session hosts comment that Jodi’ s mother was with her twin sister in court. I saw a comment on a Google search that the mystery lady is a mitigation specialist named Maria DeLaRosa.

Janis says:

Thanks Gayle. Thank god Jodi doesn’t have a twin! If she did, I think we already know who the “evil twin” would be. This Arizona Court does things so strangely. Like Det. Flores sitting at the prosecution table, and how Court always starts so late, and why they never have Court on Fridays? I try and watch when I can, but it’s so frustrating with all the delays. I would think, if the judge called for earlier start times, along with Fridays, they’d get done a lot sooner. I had always thought Court generally started in the morning around 8 to 9 am, I’ve watched many times, when they don’t get started until nearly 11am, then break an hour later for lunch. It’s just ridiculous. I can only imagine, how aggravating this must be for the jury!

Bondini says:

This monster is transparent to only those with common sense and intelligence. There is no such thing as “that many circumstances” involving a gruesome, rageful, horrific murder such as this. This woman had moved away…….wth did she need to “come visit’ for? I do not believe he expected her to come. She had heard that he was taking someone else to Cancun. She went into a fit of rage because this cemented the fact that she was the “whore” she is and always was. She is a classic sociopath/psychopath/narcissist. These people are clever, smart, deviant, crazy as hell, manipulative, cunning and dangerous. They have several sides to their personality so that not one individual can summarize who they are. She clearly decided if she could not have this good looking ,,nice guy,, (although he was no angel by the text messages and phone conversations she recorded)that noone else would. Mr Alexander underestimated his foe. He thought he could keep this woman at a distance emotionally. Not so. She was determined to have him sexually. When the sex(which he was not used to) did not work and he= finally realized he was being manipulated, he tried to get away from her. WRONG decision!!! The nut was fueled by his rejection. The defense can try to explain away all they like that she was abused early on in life blah blah blah(hell, most of us raised in the south got our a””” whipped with tree limbs) but you do not find us in court having committed atrocities such as this!!!. This fool was crazy as he”” and she butchered this guy. However, you have these bleeding liberals idiots who will look at her and think,,,,,,,aw, poor little cute white girl(and she is not beautiful and not a bombshell)……….we need to make concessions for her. I doubt justice will be served. Anything less than the death penalty for this cracked up cow is injustice for Travis Alexander and his family!!!

Jon says:

This whole trial is an injustice to both sides. The lack of detail in the crime scene investigation cant solve whether this was self defense or murder. The prosecutions story doesn’t obey the laws of physics and her story lacks lots of details. I think the officers that did the investigation didn’t spend enough time putting together an actual step by step scenario of what actually happened. Shot first?? Stabbed first?? Thats crucial… Drag a damp naked body down a hallway of tile one handed obviously because a picture was taken during by someone half the size doesn’t add up physically… (simple math shows that it would have taken near 200 lbs of force to move that body and she was able to do this a…one handed.. and b… in socks? Nope.. doesn’t add up. I think the injustice is that whoever decided to start the trial didn’t have enough evidence to actually state this is what happened! Neither story ads up so it probably should (according to our constitution) be a mistrial. Did she murder or was this self defense? Honestly there isn’t enough crucial and needed evidence to point the finger either way. The injustice is in our justice department. I think they know this because they aren’t stupid. They only have to CONVINCE THE JURY of their side of the story… So what do they do? Attack her with her sexual acts and make her out to be a whore. Whores are easier to convict right?

westerner22 says:

Jon, your comment is the first human and intelligent set of observations that I have read or heard so far about this trial. Please continue participating here or elsewhere, or I will loose all respect for my fellow Americans. I started following this a few days ago out of an inner moral obligation – I could not stand the false reporting, witch-hunting and mysogynism of the HLN and the social media. I caught up quickly with most available facts and I agree; we need a step by step, second by second presentation of how the killing was executed. Too much is missing. According to the detective report the death was caused by the stab to the chest -NOT the gunshot and NOT the neck slit! But in what order all of the stuff has happened? To move the dead body on a sheet is possible – as the nurse said in a comment above (Tx). But all the fury BEFORE?! It might be done if she were in a state of mania (as in bi-polar) and that is why she also might have truly be blank about the stabbing part. Mania, even just a hypo-mania, CAN be this incredible mystic force defying the physics – all of which, as you point out, must be explained. As it is now (3/28) it leads to a mistrial. I hope.

westerner22 says:

Narcissism is often co-morbid with bi-polar disorder or vice versa. So the manic state could explain a lot of her actions, which ended in killing her partner. No premeditation, rather being prepared for self-defense (this time around) and that ended bad for him, and now her. I think she went to see him a few days before Cancun trip with hopes that he would change his mind and take her. He got his sex-part of it and was done… and something went very wrong.

Cecilia Berger says:

are they going to allow those pic in as Evidence , the one’s they left out ????????

Jon says:

What gets me is the scenario that they play out. I still can’t say 100 percent I know she did it. Here is my thought. How did this girl drag his body all over the house using one hand? You look at friction and laws of physics and it doesn’t seem to make sense. Damp naked skin on the floor takes a lot more force that someone clothed or not. So how did Jodi drag a body with one hand that is clearly larger than her, clearly damp skin and still be able to carry a camera and take a shot of the ceiling accidently. That girl could barely drag him using both hands. She would have to walk backwards to pull the body. The cuts on his hand wouldn’t give much grip either. Wouldn’t there be some heavy bruising around his wrists from where she was holding on as hard as she could to pull him? Im not an expert or anything and I could be wrong but they act like she was able to carry a camera and drag this guy who appears twice her size around the house one handed and fast!

Janis says:

Jon, you are aware, that Jodi has admitted she did murder him, right? I don’t believe she was “carrying” the camera, it was on the floor, and I believe she stepped on the button that takes pictures accidently. There’s also that thing, called an adrenaline rush, that gives you more strength in an excited state. From Wikipedia:
“An adrenaline rush causes the muscles to perform respiration at an increased rate improving strength. It also works with the nervous system to interpret impulses that trigger selective glands”

She also didn’t drag him that far. From the crime scene pics, you can see where she cut his throat, at the end of the hallway from the bathroom, right before his closet. We know she dragged him because of that picture with her foot and pant leg, showing Travis with the blood dripping down his shoulder.

Jon, if you seriously don’t think Jodi did this, heaven help us all, and I hope none of the jurors are in the same mind set as you.

Jon says:

Janis, Like my comment stated. “I still can’t say 100 percent I know she did it”.. Let me re-do that sentence as to Im not 100 percent sure that this wasn’t a self defence case. One great thing about our country is that we are innocent UNTIL proven guilty and this scenario they have played out does not make sense. I don’t care how strong one gets in an intense situation. That little girl could not pull that large of a man one handed, naked and damp, across a tiled floor. The photo in the hallway is definitely not taken from on the ground and appears to be about 2 to 3 feet up at least. My second thing is if this shot really comes from the ground when someone stepped on the camera the only possibility of a photo would be level and not pointed at a 45 or so degree angle. Reason I say this is because on the tile the camera angle with a foot on it would slide the camera out onto its back and if for whatever reason the camera took a picture with no foot on shutter button because it rolled onto its back took a photo, it would be straight up. I mean the easiest way to demonstrate this is by taking your camera, placing your foot on the button and titlting the camera upward like the picture shows. Can easily be done right?? Now put some pressure on it, most of your weight, as if you are dragging a body all over the place. 100 bux says camera not going to take a nice “angled” shot.

Not saying I believe she is wrong or right, murderer or self defender. All Im saying is that none of the scenarios even make sense and I think to get the true justice this…and every case for that matter…deserves is they need to have a 100 percent…without a doubt…a play by play of what happened.

My opinion of this is that there is no way a woman this size could drag a damp naked body across tiled floor one handed while other hand is holding a camera. No adrenaline rush is going to allow this girl, in socks, pull a damp (water damp) naked body down a tile floor. You are talking friction coefficients that would make his body be like pulling 1.5 times his weight… while pulling him backwards. Her being in socks couldn’t get enough traction to make that kind of pull either. Its simple physics! Sorry.. but if I was a juror, I would be asking more about how this could happen vs the sex stuff.. especially because another life is on the line.

Janis says:

Jon, Jodi isn’t a “little girl,” she’s actually 5’6, she said in Court she was between 5’5 and a half and 5’6 but she is 5’6. Travis was only 5’9, around 200 lbs, only 3 inches taller than Jodi. If you have been watching the trial, Ryan Burns, the guy she was in bed with, 24 hours after murdering Travis, testified she was fit and strong. He mentioned she nearly had a 6 pack on her abs. Obviously, she did drag him down that hallway, the camera with the pictures, she thought she had deleted, has proven she did drag him. She probably put him back in the shower, to wash off any of her blood. Yes, “another life is on the line” but that was her choice. What choice did Travis have?

Also, she still trying to be calculating, the way she’s adjusted her chair down lower than her attorneys, to try and appear smaller. I was happy when Juan Martinez made her stand up with Wilmott, trying to show her “broken” finger. What was really shown, is her being a lot taller. I hope the jury is picking up on that.

Waymon says:

I agree with John! You show me a woman Jody’s’ size, pull dead weight, even with an adrenaline rush, one would see some evidence on the body; such as bruising and/or rug burns! Travis deserves justice, not prejudice!

westerner22 says:

I am totally with Jon as well, se my comment above- with dragging the body on the sheet, confirmed by a nurse comment. However, Wyman, there ARE about three large bruises – on his legs I believe. Need to check the report again on this site. Innocent till proven guilty. Not much left of this country but this I will not let go and so help me God or my moral star.

Tutuhut says:

Hey, Jon I feel you are trying to act smart and sound intelligent by raising questions that are almost stupid. No body said she dragged the dead body and held the camera at the same time. I am glad you are not on the jury b/c you are not very intelligent man. You remind me of people who just argue and argue till they are blue in the face just so they can assert and show everyone that they are smart. Thank you for your comment , I think you should not waste yoru brain cells on this trial. you seem to have hard time understanding patently clear things.

sherry c. says:

actually you can do alot with adrenaline that you wouldnt be able to do without ..pulling him on a tile floor and keep in mind that he’s bloody which would make it slippery which would make it easier to slide the body..besides , its easier sometimes to pull than can happen at 5’6 120 or 130 pounds..pulling 200 pounds is alot easier than lifting 200 i would have doubt if she had to lift him but she obviously pulled him.and she was never in fear of her life, and it just so happens shes in fear of her life the day she takes the long trip to him and a couple of days before he is to leave for cancun? i mean, come on here..lets be realistic! jmo

Melli says:

Apparently, you have never taken any first aid classes or you might be more familiar with something called the “Fireman’s Drag”, which is a way of dragging someone out of danger when they are unable to do it themselves. A teeny woman can drag a very heavy man by rolling him into a blanket or sheet (you know, like the ones she put in the washer) and pulling on that. It’s just a matter of proper leverage, but the adrenaline rush of the emergency helps as well – you do what you must without stopping to consider your physical capabilities.

You can also lift a person twice your weight from a sitting position by pressing your knees to theirs and leaning back. Have you never noticed how easily some of these petite nurses can manage to move large patients around? Ever used a “dolly” to move a frig or washer? Leverage is the key.

You are also assuming that dragging a wet, naked and bloodied body across a wet and bloodied tile floor would make the task more difficult. I guess you have never SKIDDED across a room after stepping in a puddle of water, either? Felt nearly weightless as you tried to right yourself?

Jodi’s testimony is that the camera was dropped to the floor, initiating the “attack” by Travis, but I suspect it may have been on a strap around her neck at some point as well. The first accidental photo (ceiling) was determined by an expert to have been taken from 2-3 feet off the floor – JA claims to be kneeling then. The next two were taken by an upside-down camera, 62 seconds later, apparently from the floor. There was quite a struggle going on, so it’s not that hard to see how the shutter may have been pushed on accident (obviously no one was actively taking pictures – too busy stabbing and being stabbed).
If you truly have doubts about the physical possibility of her story, it wouldn’t be that hard to demonstrate – 5’6″/125 lb/female, 5’10″/190 lb/male and a wet tile floor. Nuff said.

Washington says:

It is easy, she could have placed him on a blanket and dragged him. Or anything that has a smooth surface to drag over carpet. Plus it is amazing when adrenaline kicks in. People have had to rescue people from underneath cars , and have been able to physically lift the car up off of the person trapped underneath it.

Seriously says:

Jon (and whomever agrees with you)

She confessed. She did it. She didn’t pull him around with one hand. She had all the time in the world to get him back into the shower. Apparently two photos were taken because she dropped the camera. Because she was trying to do too much at once. Also a wet body (not damp, but wet) is slick andych easier to move across tile than when dry. She was in excellent physical condition and had the benefit of adrenaline to multiply her strength. Your arguments are terrible.

frances says:

julie you said it all i agree with all of your comments. sharon you said what i have always thought, he looks terrified in those pictures i thought the same thing, that phyco had that gun on him he was probably shocked at that first stab wound in his back, tried to fight back defence only to get stabbed more over and over, your also right she wanted it to look like it was two people this was all planned in that sick mind of hers.

Kathie Granger says:

why did she leave the camera? and if she knew he was bleeding to death when she came out of her fog why did she not get him help instead of letting him bleed to death? She was jealous of him but that was crule. Thanks Kathie Granger

Janis says:

She thought the camera would have been ruined when she put it in the washing machine (along with those bloody towels and clothing) I’m sure when Det. Flores told her about the pics on the camera,(the memory card survived) she was shocked. She was alert enough to do that, along with taking the gun, and all her bloody clothing with her, which tells you, there wasn’t any “fog” like she’s claiming. I believe she knew he was dead, she didn’t want him to live. I truly believe this was pre-mediated, she went there with he intent of murdering him.

mrbulldog30 says:

Hey Jon !!! The fact of how hard it was for Jodi to pull Travis down the hallway
wet or dry is not an issue. The fact is that she did it. That is not contested so why is
this evan on your radar. Jodi was tghe only other person there . Jodi has admitted that she killed Travis Alexander. so with that settled . The other thing that you have totaly missed is that a wet naked bloody body will be 10 times easyer to move
than it would be to move a person with clothes on and wet. The clothes soak up theb water and blood and it would be much more sticky. Like slippery when wet. The 1st degree vers self defence does not change the fact jodi Arias said she put him there.

Nomatter how much you think about the size and strength of Jodi SHE SAID AND DID IT. Now as for you being on a jury and asking stuff that has all ready bean answerd
the judge would through them out. It would be wasting time. And as A FORMER JUROR myself I would not be suprized if the Judge asked after the days testamony
that you please remove yourself because you have not been atentive enough for this case. As you said especially because another life is on the line. Go back and read all of the evidedence you missed. As I said before when I was on a jury for a rape of a 14 year old girl. We had a juror come back for diliberations and the first thing he said was “Where do I sighn the guilty verdict”. The other 11 of us were shocked.
We had to sellect a forperson and ask what was everyones view on how to vote IE.
by hand or secret ballot. Then we did a hand count and when he reolized he was
the only guilty hr asked “What did I miss” and one by one we asked him if he heard
this thying or that thing and as we asked him questions he thought how could he have missed so many facts about the case. The forman took him aside and exsplained
that he was for the most part taking a few days off work . That he thought that people don’i get charged for something they did’nt do. Well sometimes people have others charged to get attention like in this case. We had him read all of thye transcrips and
he made it unanimous. Noty guilty so say us all. So remember Jon Jodi did dragg
Travis across the wet floor wile he was naked and dead.

Bondini says:

What is your point. I shudder to think you were on any jury panel. You likely did not finish 3rd grade from the garbage you just posted that made absolutely no sense!!

mrbulldog30 says:

To Kathie Granger !!Wow I don’t understand why people start questioning why she did’nt help him when she came out of her FOGGG. Kathie listen ! Jodi is charged with first degree murder ok. That means she
wanted Travis DEAD not saved by 911. And for the last time all of you people Jodi Arias was not or has ever been in a fogg. iIt is the story she is useing now so she does not have to explane the 29 stabb wounds and slitt throat. She probably had the camera hanging from a strap around her neck and after bending down she hit the button on the camera with her knee or elbow .That to me makes the best sence of how the camera was able to take 2 pics so close to each time wize and be taken by Jodi as she admits to taking boath before and right aftert his death. How is that for making sence.

Washington State says:

If anyone deserves the death penalty it’s Jodi. I hope the jury sees through her lies.

Cherie says:

I will loose all faith in our legal system if the jury doesn’t give her the death penalty. That’s what she deserves and if ordinary people following the trial can see through her sociopathic personality then I hope to god people chosen of her peers can also.

Just saying says:

I agree

Fatima says:

Cecilia Berger says:

me 2

Janis says:

I agree. It’s just one lie after the other with her, and the way she’s making herself out to be the victim is really hard to stomach. She’s no victim.

Janis says:

I have a hard time understanding why Travis didn’t see Jodi as dangerous. After her stalking behavior, at his home, her hacking into his emails, then slashing his tires twice, it’s just hard to fathom why he was still in contact with her. I guess he wanted to get laid, but come on. Jodi was like a real life fatal attraction, and I wish Travis had listened to Mimi Hall, when she advised him to get a restraining order.
This is no way meant to criticize Travis, the poor guy paid the ultimate price with his life. I heard one of his friends say “Jodi’s not dangerous, she wouldn’t hurt me,” it’s just so sad he didn’t see how psycho this woman is/was.

Washington says:

Travis I believe had a good heart something very rare these days. He was a genuinely good man. He was looking for a woman to marry and Jodi was throwing herself in his face so much that I feel he was hoping it would work out. I also believe she introduced him into a world of sexual fantasy since that seems to be the only thing she had going for herself. She played the game and lost. It was all about her. She found her man and her narcissistic behavior was paramount and took over, she is a control freak also. God will get the glory on this one, Travis is with us in spirit and we will stand together for him. Blessings to his family.

Waymon says:

How are you so definite and sure of your opinion and self? I read you post’s and replies and you are taking this way too personal and you reply as if you were giving information the rest of us dont have.. and you dont.. R.I.P. Travis!

patty says:

Can’t figure out how she got him back in the shower. That shower has a base that extends up so you have to step over it to get in the shower.

westerner22 says:

Good question, so rare that some of us still ask questions (3/28). His body had bruises – perhaps this is where he got them being possibly dragged on a sheet to the shower from the hall. By someone.

bobby t says:

hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. this sums it all up.
i feel fortunate, that after all the women i dis-respected because of my narcissistic behavior during my whore-ish years, that i didnt end up like Travis.
that said, Travis liked the kinky sex, but never-ever viewed Jodi as his ultimate soul mate. and, when he decided to take someone else on that “trip”, it was the final straw for Jodi.
obviously, she has issues (she wasnt loved enough, abused, etc), and that ultimately put her over the edge.
i feel sorry for her, i really do. he screwed her over big-time so she made him pay!

Hunter says:

how could you feel sorry for her? I don’t understand why so many people do!!! I’m thinking most people have not experienced a sociopath! She is a murderer! Sociopaths not only lie, but also play mind games to make you feel sorry for her! She is laughing inside believe me!!

kam says:

I have dated three sociopaths by choice in my time, and one pulled a gun on me when I tried to break up with her. I called the police, and they showed up and arrested her, took her to the hospital and she there tried to hang her self in the bathroom using her belt. They put her in a mental institution for two weeks. There are crazy women out there. Sex was awesome though. Unfortunatly

Jesi says:

Jodi isn’t laughing on the inside, she’s just laughing. Plenty of times during her fake testimony she grins, holds in a giggle and hides a smiles with a turned down face or under a hand. She is so self-centered has never once said she is sorry and yet people post that they feel sorry for her! There is no proof that she was ever abused. Just like in the Casey Anthony case all of the sudden she was abused by her family members and of course they’re going to keep quiet and not contest it, she’s their kid they’re not going to dispute a lie that could save her. Let’s get it together. She says countless times that she knew they couldn’t be together, that she couldn’t see herself being married to him and that she wasn’t jealous but then shes the one traveling 1000 miles to see him and watching him through the back door on a date with someone else? Yea that sounds like fear alright, “I’m so afraid of this person, let me spend alot of money to fill my gas tank, pay for a rental or put wear and tear on my car, so I can go get some abusive sex and beatings…I am so afraid”.

Janis says:

I don’t feel sorry for her in the least. Travis is the one I feel sorry for, and the brutal way she butchered him. She needs to be held accountable for what she did, it was her choice to murder him, and she do so, in such a horrifying way. But what I find most unbelievable, is the way she doesn’t seem to have any remorse for what she did. Then, to go and make these false, horrible allegations about Travis, just tells me, what a piece of crap she is as a human being.

Julie says:

I believe she stabbed him in the back while he was sitting vulnerable to her with his back turned toward her and stabbed him and he probably then turned around to grab her hand and that caused the his hand wounds – also at that point probably stabbed him in the chest disabling him. She testified he charged her like a linebacker but if he was built the way she describes him and a wrestling student in high school why doesn’t she have any injuries and how could she have been in charge of this murder if he was that powerful? No way could it happen the way she said. Don’t know if the gunshot was first or last but if first, he probably was fighting for his life at that point with what little strength he had – she appears to be a self-serving individual with no regrets – only she seduced him all the way – willing to participate in everything she said they did – not abuse in anyway, shape or form. I do not believe her about the pedophile statement BECAUSE it is her word and she is a known liar. How shameful to not only murder him but try to assassinate his character. Is there anything else she wants to do to him? All of us have been hurt by relationships and split up – she was one who appears that anytime someone cheated on HER, she was going to make sure she got the last word. To listen to her talk to the prosecutor, a person with a conscience wouldn’t be sitting there smug and a know-it-all but would be humble and not afraid of telling the truth. Remember – she didn’t call 911, she ran, she concealed evidence and she went right into the arms of another man after murdering Travis Alexander. It is an open and shut case. I hope the jury gives her what she deserves – death sentence for pre-mediatied murder as it has been proven.

Jesi says:

Thank you for being a human with a brain Julie! Just like you said, if he was buff and big as she described him and he was a wrestler, thats like her saying she has super powers because how is it then that he BODYSLAMMED her and she hit her head on the tile and then quickly rolled away and ran super fast like shes a superhero or trained assassin who feels no pain and has the ultimate agility, endurance and speed. I don’t get it. She said something to the extent of being winded, but really if that man bodyslammed her onto a tile floor no less, she wouldn’t have just gotten up off that floor, sorry, impossible. Her defense team are just two poor excuses for human beings, Nurmi is such a pig always rehashing all the sexual stuff because he loves hearing it and that “woman” trying to seem consoling to that “expert witness” Samuel’s when his credentials aren’t very presentable to begin with. Did these people not do their research-“let’s pick the guy who was charged out of his private practice for being crooked to testify for our crooked defendant with her crooked finger, thats sometimes straight”. It’s all laughable. Justice better be served because if one more person gets away with a disgusting crime, I won’t know how to view America anymore.

westerner22 says:

…”Don’t know if the gunshot was first or last but if first, he probably …” this says it all, thank you. We should know, the jury should know and be convinced of the logistics as well. So I see you have A REASONABLE DOUBT.

sherry c. says:

it was overkill no matter what come was still a murder..if the gunshot came first, then why didnt she shoot and run? and if he was shot first , at one time he was vulnerable and his back to her and she stabs still? or if the shot came last then why shoot him after you’ve killed him? the only doubt is what came first but it shouldnt matter b/c it wasnt just a was stabbing, shooting and cutting throat! he never stood a chance and thats why she took multiple he couldn’t..the point is, she made sure she did him in. jmo

Cheryl Darby says:

There is doubt as to whether she shot him first or last. While the order in which she attacked him is in doubt, the fact she murdered him is not. If this jury comes back with anything less than guilty of first degree murder, it will be a travesty.

Sharon says:

I will never be convinced he voluntarily “posed” for these shower pictures. I have always said it looked like he was terrified in them. I believe she had the gun on him and forced him to let her take the pictures. And then when his back was turned or he was seated in the shower, she began stabbing him, and that is when he made his way out of the shower, and was trying to fight her off trying to run down the hallway away from her and she drug him back and slit his throat. Then she slit his throat and drug his body back into the shower/tub area. I hope she gets the death penalty, she deserve’s nothing less!!

coppercat49 says:

Now that u mention it, the pose of T on the bed,nude.. he was holding two fingers in a peace sign. was he saying more than the picture shows in that shot? ya think? We are all becoming PI’s w/o pay lol

mike says:

April, cm’on, Travis respectful of women? Have you heard “the tape”? Travis did nothing to warrant an assault and execution. They both should have walked away from this relationship of use. Having stated that, sorry, but Travis does seem to be hypocritical, in a scary way, creating two personnas. Many openly devout people have had a problem with illicit relationships. Travis clearly enjoyed the sensuality of a woman ( to put it mildly), nothing wrong with that, that’s the way most men are wired, but he was clearly and irrefutably a “player” while maintaining a facade within his religious community. I say this based on the info that’s out there.

Linda says:

Too bad he picked a twisted minded girl. Under normal circumstances, another girl would have either played along or drop the relationship once they knew his intentions. But, he picked a person that had some serious issues; too busy just wanting to get himself off, he did not see the red flags. This girl was not playing with a full deck. Slashing tires was a big flag; stalking him another big flag…he just did not take this girl seriously enough to just sit her down and talk to her and actually let her go! He did not deserve to die or be killed in this fashion. The kill demonstrates just how hurt this sick girl was and no matter how sick she is she should get the death penalty…sorry, but no matter how messed up this guy is there are still many more where he came from and I dont believe that they deserve to be killed and concern the killer as some sort of innocent victim-no, not right at all.

Sally says:

I hear ya Mike, Travis was a hypocrite and a self-absorbed player in a dangerous and destructive relationship that sadly, resulted in his murder. I don’t buy Jodi’s self-defense theory one bit.

Melli says:

And yet why do I get the feeling that had he not been killed, you might have been one to pat him on the back and congratulate him for being such a successful “player”?
An extremely large percentage of the men I’ve dated could have been considered players (or hoped to be) – I knew it, they knew it, and still we chose to date each other. From everything I’ve seen, Travis was at least honest about his intentions (or lack of them) toward Jodi – not even she is claiming he fed her a line of BS.
As far as that “disrespectful” tape you mentioned, if my ex broke into my email and Facebook accounts, slashed my tires twice, harrassed my current lover and spied on me while on a date – you would not be able to read or print the scathing diatribe I would unload on him! Her actions were undeserving of any respect whatsoever, not to mention criminal!

James says:

the finger was broken after the murder

april says:

I don’t believe it was a break that caused the deformity. This looks like an injury to the tendon, not the bone. Check ”mallet finger,” on the Internet to see what I’m referring to. ”Trigger finger,” is another injury to the tendon. I’m not a doctor, but I know enough to be highly skeptical of Jodi’s explanation.
The injury could have occurred before or after the murder; without treatment it will remain bent. I sustained a mallet finger injury while making a bed-I jammed the finger while tucking in a corner. The finger had to be splinted for several months. I received care from a hand surgeon.

finger was broken when the sociopath murdered travis!

It is actually a nice and useful piece of information. I’m happy that you shared this useful info with us. Please stay us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.

april says:

Simply stated, if Jodi couldn’t have Travis, she made sure no one could! After 2 hours of sex, she showered, dressed, concealed a knife in her waist band (the gun wouldn’t stay in place) and after photographing him in the shower, she methodically stabbed him to death, trying to sever his head, and finally shooting him in the face in a symbolic attempt to destroy his body. She didn’t ”snap,” she knew exactly what she was doing and murdered Travis while being in complete control of herself. Her statement of how Travis bent her over the bed and entered her anally after her baptism, like so many of her other statements, was true but incomplete; the sex was most likely at her insistance. I believe Travis was, above all, a decent man who was respectful of women.
Mr. Martinez is a skillful and passionate prosecutor. His cross examination will be incredible!

april says:

After giving additional thought to the question of why Jodi shot Travis in the head after killing him, I now believe she shot him in order to lead the police to think there were two assailants who killed him, one with a gun, one with a knife.

AquariousinAZ says:

I still have so many questions as to how all of this adds up. I can’t wait to hear her explanation tomorrow (2/20) of how all of this transpired.

Although, I have to disagree with you regarding Travis’ behavior toward women. He certainly had some deep-seated issues reconciling his sexuality with his faith but I don’t see any evidence of him being “respectful of women.” Certainly, like Mike above indicated, most men have kinky fantasies and some have illicit affairs. Yet, not all of them act on it in the manner in which he did, then project their shame for their behavior or disgust with themselves on the person they are doing it with and vilify them for what seemed to have been consensual behavior. He most definitely needed help.

Nobody deserves to die like he did and I am not trying to blame him for it but he did play with the fire.

“Travis was, above all, a decent man who was respectful of women.”….seriously April? That is not my impression.

Excellent observation!!!

I have no sympathy for this liar, stalker, manipulator and murderer. She clearly planned and then executed the heinous killing of Travis Alexander and is now stooping to also destroying his character to save herself from the well warranted consequences. Non of the evidence supports her allegations of abuse. She is the stalker who would not let go of Travis. My theory is that she was so obsessed with her victim and angry that he was not going to marry her that she decided that no one else was going to have him if she couldn’t. She lured him with sex and then went in for the kill. The photos were originally taken so she could treasure these moments with her victim – really perverse. The killing was especially heinous partly to ensure the act was done and was also fuelled by anger at rejection. Love and hate are often combined. She deserves the death penalty. I certainly feel for Travis’s survivors who have to deal with the blows to his character as well as his cruel murder.

coppercat49 says:

If a Man did this He would be called a stalker,breaking/entering,theif,and worse of all… a Rapist.. This case proves that a Man can be raped as well as a woman…

Sally says:

Not quite,…. most rape victims don’t willingly have sex with their rapist. Which brings up the question, why would anyone in their right mind have sex with someone they characterize as a stalker?

Another poster says:

Excellent question.indeed, why would anyone in their right mind have sex with a stalker and someone they truly believed was a sociopath?

Answer: because the type of sex they deeply desired was only available from this clearly dangerously obsessed person .

It is why Travis did not secure his safety and take precautions after he sent her that cruel text May 24. His desire for 50 Shades type off sex overrode his judgement.

westerner22 says:

coppercat49, men do it so often and so all over the world that the United Nation has finally noticed and made a big report. That is VAW – Violence Against Women. UN did not a report about VAM because it is so rare that no generalizations are worthy to dribble about. But we live in a man’s world even here in the USA and TV and media and the stupid bitches (excuse me) only are watching when a sexy young female does it.

westerner22 says:

And here, coppercat49, I show you what happens in this country WHEN a man does it: NOTHING. The murderer is still in large and the public is not even informed about it. The ex-girlfriend he stabbed opposite of sherriff’s office in San Jose CA had a restraining order against him. Ask HLN or any other news why we know nothing more about this recent March 23 case – which is much more tragic that Travis Alexander’s – she left a child behind. Please help me put some light on this case:
