Father accuses Zumba instructor of taking inappropriate naked photos with their son
In a separate civil complaint filed in York District Court, the father of Alexis Wright’s son claimed that the infamous former Zumba instructor took naked and other inappropriate pictures with their child.
Benjamin Hopkins filed a complaint last month seeking a civil protection order to obtain custody of their son, claiming that his son was living in an “extremely dangerous situation” according to documents filed with the court. Both Hopkins and Wright were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday but neither showed up, causing Judge Michael P. Cantara to dismiss the complaint.
Wright, 29, is accused of prostituting herself out of her popular Pura Vida fitness studio in the upscale town of Kennebunk, Maine, and then video recording her encounters. This scandal has continued to create media headlines as local police release the names of her estimated 150 Johns, including prominent figures such as a former mayor, the high school hockey coach and a local media personality.
Wright is charged with 106 counts of prostitution, invasion of privacy, tax evasion and other related charges. She has pleaded not guilty in a Portland Superior Court.
