Jodi Arias may testify in her defense; witness list revealed
There is a chance that Jodi Arias will testify in her own defense. The beauty accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend is named on the defense witness list, which means there is a possibility she will testify. Her attorneys do not have to call her and they will make that decision during the presentation of their defense.
Other names on the list include two former friends and two former girlfriends of Travis Alexander that the defense alleges were seeing Alexander while he was dating Arias, a former cell mate of Arias named Kimberly Ross, and a former boyfriend of Arias’ who lives in California.
The defense also plans to call Richard Samuels, a psychologist and an expert on sexual violence cases that is expected to testify that the relationship between Arias and Alexander matches the profile of domestic abuse.
Trial is set to begin again on January 29.
