Jodi Arias: Hell Hath No Fury

Man Pleads Guilty In Stalking Of Jodi Arias Commentators

simpsonPHOENIX (AP) — A New York man charged with threatening two national TV commentators via Twitter over their coverage of the Jodi Arias murder trial in Phoenix has pleaded guilty in the case.

Maricopa County prosecutors say David Lee Simpson, of Bath, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of attempted computer tampering. He’s scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 23.

The 48-year-old originally pleaded not guilty to computer tampering and stalking charges.

Authorities say Simpson was in New York when he sent the tweets, but Arizona asserted jurisdiction since the threats were made against individuals for conduct during their coverage of a case that was occurring in Phoenix.

The TV personalities – Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell of Turner Broadcasting’s HLN network – were in Arizona at times covering the trial.

LOL Media says:

Awww, He made a tweet and scared Nancy and Jane…. poor, poor pitiful them! Give me a break. If it were not for the $150,000 in legal fees they have paid to ‘charge’ this man. He is just one more keyboard warrior out of the billions that are out there.

This is ridiculous.
