Clayton Whittemore is charged with murdering Alexandra Kogut, a college freshman at the University, by beating her to death. According to documents he told police that he “just snapped” after a night of arguing over “stupid stuff.”

He pleaded not guilty at his Oct. 25, 2012 arraignment in Sweden Town Court.

Trial was initially scheduled for Nov. 4.
