New surveillance video further Links Hernandez to 2012 double homicide in Boston
A new report further links Aaron Hernandez to a double homicide in Boston in July, 2012. Authorities have recovered surveillance footage from a Boston nightclub that places Aaron Hernandez at the same club as the two victims just hours before they were killed, according to an article in the Hartford Courant citing multiple law enforcement sources.
Daniel Abreu, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28, were killed in a drive-by shooting in Boston’s South End on July 16, 2012. Police searched for a silver Toyota 4Runner with Rhode Island plates they suspected was involved in the shooting. Police found a vehicle matching that description in a Bristol Conn. residence while investigating the murder of Odin Lloyd. The vehicle had reportedly been stored in Hernandez’ uncle’s garage for approximately one year.
Authorities are investigating Hernandez’ possible involvement in the 2012 double homicide, but no charges have been filed.
