Woman Charged With Driving Son On Hood

hoodWINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) — A central Florida woman faces a child cruelty charge after authorities say she drove down a busy road with her teenage son on the hood of her car.

Winter Springs police say an officer pulled over 43-year-old Tojuana Lowe Thursday morning as she was traveling on State Road 434.

Police say Lowe told the officer her son had jumped on her vehicle to stop her from leaving and that she drove away in an attempt to scare him, assuming he would jump off.

Police say Lowe was traveling about 20 to 25 mph and went nearly a third of a mile before being stopped. No injuries were reported.

Lowe was booked into the Seminole County jail and released on $2,000 bail. Jail records didn’t say if she had an attorney.

sounds like real ‘tough’ love training to me. Kid should try a foster home for a while and beg mom’s forgiveness. Now he has the upper hand instead.
