‘Rockefeller’ will finally face trial in March for murder charges
There has finally been movement in the trial against the alleged con man that authorities say pretended for years to be a member of the illustrious Rockefeller family.
Attorneys agreed on a March trial date for Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, 51, aka Clark Rockefeller, who is accused of the 1985 murder of John Sohus.
During the Wednesday hearing Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge George Lomeli also ruled that statements made by Gerhartsreiter to a television reporter following his 2008 arrest would be admissible at trial, but statements made to police following the same arrest would not be admissible.
